Mamma Mia Boynton: Authentic Italian Cuisine in Boynton Beach

Excellent food but the prices deserve a MUCH nicer environment. The restaurant is dark, dinghy, and lost in the early 1970s. We were there as a party of eight, and no two meals arrived at the same time. Our basic dinner conversation consisted of us telling one another, "it's okay, go ahead and eat before yours gets cold." The grandma's pizza is absolutely delicious but be prepared to layout $38 for it. I'm Italian-American, and a baker, who regularly makes my own breadd, bagels, English muffins, and pizza, let me tell you (paying retail for my ingredients - not wholesale from a purveyor) I could easily make at least a dozen Grandma's pizzas for $38! Comon' I don't mind paying for things but as an Italian cook myself, I really can't justify paying $28 for a single serving of pasta or $38 for a pizza pie, in a place with poor service and zero atmosphere. At least the food tastes good, so if you want it, I recommend you do what I do, and call ahead for pickup to take home.

If I could; I would give Mamma Mia a 10/5. I been going to Mamma Mia for years. Their food is just amazing. Truly authentic Italian, full of flavors, and always fresh! Chicken Alfresco is my favorite. Their Tiramisu is heavenly. I praise their generosity for the amount of food they serve; I always leave with left overs. If my wife wasn’t a great cook I would probably go to Mamma Mia every night for dinner They keep their quality so I keep my loyalty God bless them

If you're a foodie like me, you'll love Mamma Mia Italian restaurant. From when I first walked in, I felt the warm ambiance. The staff were very welcoming as well as extremely friendly. The menu has a variety of options to choose from, but "Linguine & Clam Sauce" is my favorite dish. The portion was large; food was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. Give Mamma Mia Italian Restaurant a try, it's totally worth it! I will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

Had a great meal at Mama Mia's this evening. We both had the Chicken Parm Sunset Dinner. Soup, salad, two pieces of Chicken Parm, pasta and a drink. Enough Chicken Parm and pasta for another meal. The food was delicious and, oh my, oh so plentiful. The garlic rolls are to die for. Our server, Paul, was top notch, personable, and certainly enhanced our experience. All for under $60, minus tip. What a deal. If you go, ask for Paul. You will not be disappointed in the service or the food.

I would say the food was absolutely delicious. The portions are so big they really should cut them in half and charge half the price. It is great for having leftovers but wow, it’s a lot of food. Overall, the surface was great. The place was super busy because it’s so good.

Visited Mamma Mia on the recommendation of a local while visiting the city for an event. We were a party of 10 and our server Erika and her assistants were on the mark! Everything was perfect as ordered, no errors. All meals came out at the same time at the perfect temperature, not an easy feat with a large party. The food was excellent, the veal was tender, pasta cooked perfectly, calamari was the perfect texture (also not easy). The sunset menu was a great value and the portions are generous. A little too far for us to visit regularly but we will make a point of visiting when we are in the area! Highly recommend!

We worked with Mamma Mia for a repast dinner after a funeral and it was great from beginning to end. They were very open about prices, relaxed about exact numbers of people who showed up, helpful when picking out the menu, and the food all tasted great including the soups and the entrees. It all came out hot and huge portions. Why this is 5 stars: i knew with a giant group of diners all seated at the same time and with varying needs that service could take a hit. I warned my husband we would be lucky to get any refills with this arrangement. I was blown away by the service, which included allowing us to provide our own dessert but they still served us AND refills PLUS two different coffee choices at the end. They deserve all the business we can give them. Thank you
